HTC just announced Desire 601 ahead of the IFA 2013. HTC Desire 601 is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core Qualcomm® Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 OS with HTC Sense user interface and Blinkfeed.
Desire 601 has a 4.5 inch qHD display that offers 960×540 pixels resolution. It weighs 130g and had dimensions ranging 134.5 x 66.7 x 9.88mm.
The phone has an internal storage memory of 8 GB, expandable using a microSD card. Desire 601 supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks. 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and DLNA are the connectivity options.
The rear camera is 5MP with flash. It comes with BSI sensor and HTC image chip. The flash has five levels of settings that automatically adjusts according to the distance from the object to shoot. The camera can capture 1080p videos. HTC Zoe software feature capture 3 secs videos after every still shots. The front camera is a VGA cam.
The 2100mAh battery offers 12.4 hours talk time and up to 440 hours stand by on 3G networks. The phone will launch in October this year.
