LG G Flex, the sexy curved smartphone from LG, which made its appearance in recent leaks, goes official in South Korea today. The phone bends towards its horizontal axis, (not like Samsung’s Galaxy Round which has curves on its vertical axis), and seems to be looks stunning in its photo shoot.

The phone features a specially designed back cover that self-repairs its hairline scratches ” with in minutes” and keeps the device fresh and new always.

Now, in terms of specifications, the G Flex offers a 6″ curved OLED display, but unfortunately, it tips up to 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, with 244ppi. Inside the phone we will find a 2.26 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage etc. There will be a 13 MP camera on the front, microSD card support and included Bluetooth 4.0 with in the system.

The phone measures 7.9mm to 8.7mmthick, 81.6mm wide and 160.5mm tall and weighs around 177grams, with a 3,500mAh battery, designed in curved form factor to match with the entire design of the phone. The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 with LG’s own customization in software.

LG introduced the device in Korea, it will be available from all the major Korean network providers starting from next month. No idea on the release of the device in other parts of the world.
