3G version of 12.2″ Samsung Galaxy Note tablet passed through FCC

Samsung’s upcoming 12.2″ Android tablet is not a mystery, and in fact the device hit the rumor columns many times before. The tablet made its appearance in some benchmark results also. But what is new about the device is that the Korean makers working on a 3G variant of the device as well. The device labelled as a 3G portable tablet with a model number SM-P901 made its way through FCC, and it is none other than Samsung’s Galaxy Note 12.2 3G.The FCC filing shows that the tablet offers support for 850/1900MHz frequencies.

According to the previous rumors, the tablet supposed to rocks with 2560×1600 pixels display, powered by quad core Snapdragon 800 SOC along with 3GB of RAM. Other specifications include 8MP rear camera, 2MP front snapper, 32GB of storage etc. It is supposed to be runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

If the rumored specifications turn to be real in the box, then the tablet would definitely be the next leaders in the Android tablet space. Anyway the FCC visit shows that the launch of the device is not so far. So stay awaited for that moment.
