Earlier today we reported about Huaweis’s plan on a new Octa Core processor device Ascend P6S. The Ascend P6S (successor of Ascend P6 introduced back in July), is coming with the ‘true Octa Core’ processor from MediaTek. Now the Indian makers Intex Technologies have teamed up with MediaTek to introduce the first Octa Core processor powered smartphone in India.

The Octa Core MediaTek MT6592 packed with eight cores, that functions simultaneously (Even though Samsung introduced an Octa Core powered Exynos 5 processor, it can deliver the power of four applications cores, at a given time.)
Apart from the powerful Octa Core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, the new smartphone offers
Mali 450-MP4 700MHz GPU, a 6-Inch HD IPS display, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB storage etc. Other notable feature includes 13 MP backside illuminated rear camera, 5 MP front facing camera for video calling. The company has also revealed that the phone will measure just 7mm thin and also comes with a 2.6mm bezel.
