iBerry launches Auxus Xenea X1smartphone and Auxus CoreX8 3G tablet for Indian market

Indian device maker iBerry has launched two new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean powered devices for the domestic market. iBerry Auxus Xenea X1, a music centric smartphone and Auxus CoreX8 3G, which the company claims to be the first Octa-Core powered tablet for Indian market. Both the devices will be available starting from January with a price tag of Rs. 11,900 and Rs. 23,990 for the smartphone and tablet respectively.

The company is offering a pre-booking for both the devices starting from January 10,2014 and those who are really interested on the devices can grab the devices with a discounted price of Rs. 9,990 and 20,990 for Auxus Xenea X1 and Auxus CoreX8 3G.

Now coming qHD IPS display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT658 processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU. It houses a 1GB of RAM and an on-board storage of 4GB. There is no idea on the microSD card support.

The rear camera is an 8MP autofocus one with LED flash and it sports a 2MP  front snapper. It packs a 2,200 mAh battery. On the software front the phone runs on Android 4.2.2, but the company promises a possible software update in the near future via OTA. Other notable features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, look away player, 3G etc. The phone features a Dual SIM support, a micro-SIM and a regular SIM.

As it reported earlier, the company promoting the phone as a music edition and offers a ‘Jumbo’ headset with the phone.

On the other hand, Auxus CoreX8 3G is a 7.85″ tablet with a hot swappable 3G SIM module support, that will let the users to insert or pull-out a 3G SIM module at any time from the tablet. The 7.85″ display is a 720p one with 10 multi-touch support.

The tablet is powered by 28nm Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The graphics parts are handled by PowerVR SGX544MP3 GPU, that supports high fidelity 3D games. The tablet comes with 16Gb of storage, that is expandable further up to 64GB with microSD card. It sports a 5MP camera at the rear end, iBerry also included a 2MP front snapper to the device. It packs a 4,800 mAh battery.
