Samsung has launched a new version of their rugged flagship S4 Active in their home turf. The newly launched S4 Active comes with some improvements over its original version and it goes on sale from today itself. The S4 Active LTE-A is headed to SK Telecom in Korea and expected to be available with a price tag of 900,000 won, around $860 dollar when converted.
The new variant of Samsung’s ruggedized smartphone is coming with LTE-Advanced support. The phone is beefed up with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor, where the original version sports Snapdragon 600. The camera is also boosted from 8MP to 13 MP.
Apart from these changes, the phone looks similar to the original one. The dust and water resistant phone comes with IP67 certification, and it features a 5″ Full HD display, 32GB of internal storage, Android 4.2, Wi-Fi, 2,600 mAh battery and also wrapped up with the regular Korean specific-stuff.
