Archos, a company known for their budget devices introduced their latest range Android tablet under a fresh brand dubbed as Neon. The company has just unwrapped three new tablets Archos 90 Neon, Archos 97 Neon and Archos 101 Neon. All the tablets are expected to be available under $200, with some decent specifications.
The first one in the series, Archos 90 Neon, features a 9-inch screen with 800×400 WVGA resolution. The processor inside the pack is 1.4GHz Cortex A9 along with 1GB of RAM. The tablet also offers 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded further up to 64GB with thesupport of microSD card. It runs on Android 4.2. The tablet measures 11.6mm and weighs around 480 grams.
The second one Archos 97 Neon features a design inspired by Apple’s iPad with a 9.7-inch display and 4:3 aspect ratio. The screen features a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. The processor used with the system is the same one, but clocked higher at 1.6GHz. The meemory and storage is same as that in the previous version, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Archos 97 Neon is coming with a 2MP rear camera.
Now the last one Archos neon 101 features a 10.1-inch screen with WSVGA screen. The tablet sports the same hardware features as in the Archos 90 Neon, except its slighly larger screen. It measures 12.1mm and weighs around 690 grams.
All the tablets runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and features Wi-Fi connectivity, full HD video playback, Google Play store and also comes with Google apps pre-installed.
