A new Android tablet from Asus is all set to rock the stores. The device dubbed as Asus Transformer Pad TF502T spotted on official Asus Taiwanese website. The tablet is not yet available for purchase, and we don’t have any idea, whether the Asus planning to launch the device in any other part of the world, than in Taiwan.
Asus Transformer Pad TF502T is an Android version of their Vivo Tab RT TF600T, a Windows RT based tablet launched by the company back in 2012. Apart from the big change in the OS, from Windows to Android, the Asus Transformer Pad TF502T seems to maintain all the other features of Vivo Tab RT TF600T.
The TF502T features a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, an outdated version of NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage etc. The tablet comes with keyboard dock, one of the common feature with Asus tablets. The TF502T supposed to be running on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, and it comes with 32Gb of Asus’s Webstorage space for three years.
The tablet has already gained its Bluetooth certification, and it’s supposed to landing soon. There is no idea on the releasing date or the price details. Amazon is still listed the Vivo Tab RT TF600T for $299.99, the price may be around $299.
