HTC M8 to be known as HTC One+, landing with Snapdragon 805, dual lens and more

The rumors on the HTC One sequel continues to flow nonstop, and now it seems to be at its peak. The latest one reveals the name of the device, along with most of the specifications. The device codenamed as HTC M8 leaked many times under a few different names like HTC One 2. Now a regular XDA forum member named Mike 1986 has revealed that the successor of HTC One will be dubbed as HTC One+. He also revealed some more details on the device.

From the earlier rumors the device was supposed to be landing with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor. But now it is said to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor along with a speedy DDR3 RAM.

The phone supposed to offer a larger 5.0″ screen with on-screen software keys, rather than the capacitive keys on a regular device. The screen will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. More than that the device will be housing a bigger 2,900 mAh battery.

The HTC One maintains the same Ultra Pixel camera introduced in One, and it probably be 6 or 8 MP one, possibly assisted by a dual lens. On the software front, the device is supposed to be coming with Android 4.4 KitKat topped with HTC’s Sense 6.0 UI. Take a look at the rumored specification of the device.
