Lava has launched a new Android smartphone dubbed as Lava Iris 405+. The phone is basically an upgraded version of company’s Iris 405 introduced back in May 2013. It has been listed now on Flipkart in the coming soon section. But the pricing and exact availability are not yet revealed by the online retailers.
The Iris 405+, as we said is just an upgraded version of their Iris 405. The major updates are in the form of processor and OS. The Iris 405+ sports a 1.3GHz Dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor. The processor seems to be a regular member of the budget Android smartphones now a days. The OS is also updated to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Iris 405+ sports a 4″ capacitive touch screen display with 480 x 800 pixels. Under the hood the phone features a 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded further up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card.

The rear camera is a 5MP one with autofocus and LED flash. There is also a VGA front facing camera for video chat. The phone houses a 1,400 mAh battery that said to offer 10 hours of talk time and 657 hours of stand-by in 2G.

In case of connectivity the phone offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G etc.
