Lenovo has launched a new Android device in India, dubbed as IdeaPad A10. The new device is basically an Android based dual-mode netbook, that can be used as a tablet and a laptop, depending on your needs. IdeaPad A10 is a part of the changing market trend, where we can see a number of new Android based budgetly priced laptop designs, designed for those who prefers Android over Windows.
” The market is witnessing a surge in Android based smart connected devices as it continues to be the OS of choice across form factors. Lenovo is leveraging this platform with the A10 an affordable yet power packed device, as it offers the flexibility to address, the user’s increasingly varied demands,” says Amith Chatrath, National Product Manager, Consumer products, Lenovo India.
The IdeaPad A10 sports a design, that let’s the display to flip by 300 degrees to provide a tabelt-like experience, by making the key-board as a stand.
Lenovo IdeaPad A10 features a 10.1-inch HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Under the hood the netbook hides a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor paired with 1GB of RA. The internal storage is 16GB. The laptop sports a 0.3 MP camera on the front.
In terms of connectivity the device offers two USB 2.0 ports, a microUSB port, a micro HDMI slot and also houses a microSD card for storage expansion. The 1,600 mAh battery provided within the device reported to be offer up to 10 hours of run time. The notebook runs on ANdroid 4.2 Jelly Bean topped with Lenovo’s customized Skin UI.
Lenovo is offering the IdeaPad A10 for 19,990 in India.
