LG today officially announced their successor of Optimus G Pro. But unfortunately they didn’t give any glimpse on the specification of the device, rather the company announced that the upcoming flagship from LG, the successor of Optimus G Pro will be landing at MEC, which is going to be held in Barcelona, Spain from February 24. They also revealed that the phone will be called as Optimus G Pro 2, as it was rumored earlier.
Even though LG is not ready to share any details on the device, the rumored specification points that LG Optimus G Pro 2 will be the first smartphone from LG with a fingerprint scanning technology. The phone joins the 6-inch phablet club, and is set to take on the devices like Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and HTC One Max.
Other rumored specifications of the phablet include a powerful Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4, LTE-Advance support etc.
