Micromax is all set to go big. The company has introduced their first 6-inch phablet, the Micromax Canvas XL. Even though Micromax has their phablet in the form of Canvas Doodle 2, it tips up to 5.7-inches only. The Canvas XL will be available starting from January 19th from HomeShop 18. The phone is priced at Rs. 13,990.

The phablet sports a 6-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and features a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card support up to 32GB etc.

It sports 8MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera for image processing. The phablet runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The battery is 2,450 mAh one, that the company claims to offer a talk time up to 9.5 hours on 2G.

The phablet seems to compete with upcoming Xperia T2 Ultra phablet from Sony and the HP Slate 6 Voice tab
