The rumors of the next Galaxy Note device, Galaxy Note 3 Neo seems to be heating up. The device has now become a regular visitor of rumor columns. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo was reported to feature a new hexa-core CPU, but the details on the processor was a mystery.
Now SamMobile is coming up with the details of the processor, according to the source, the
Hexa-core processor powering the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is none other than Samsung’s own Exynos process, Exynos 5260. The processor uses four of 1.3GHz cores and two 1.7GHz cores, and as it is coming with Heterogeneous Mult-Processing, HMP capabilities, all the six cores are active at the same time. But the thing is that Samsung not yet officially announced the Exynos 5260 processor.
SamMobile posted a handful of photos of the device, that shows the similarities of both the devices. Both Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Note 3 Neo sports the same design, even the faux leather back cover and the S Pen Stylus position is also the same as in its big Brother. At a glance, the difference seems to be in the size only.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo rumored to offer a 5.55″ Super AMOLED display with 720 x 1280 pixels, the powerful Hexa-core processor, 8MP rear camera with flash, 2.1 MP front facing camera, 2GB of on-board memory, 16 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, and a huge 3,100 mAh battery. The device expected to be coming with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, that can be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The phone is expected to announce next month, at MWC.
