It is almost confirmed that Sony is debuting the long rumored Sony Sirus smartphone at MWC later this month. But now it’s seems like that the Sony Sirus is not the only device to get unwrapped at MWC this year. If the lates leakes to be believed, Sony will debut one more Android smartphone at MWC. A twitter source Vizi leaks posted some images of an unannounced SOny device dubbed at Sony Xperia G, and according to the source, the device is supposed to be a upper-midranger.
Though the photos not unleashed the device completely, still it is evident that the Xperia G is following Sony’s Omni balance design and it is supposed to be coming with a plastic back. Sony also included their signature power button and a dedicated camera button within the system. Coming to the specifications, the phone seems to pack a Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1GB of RAM under its 4.8-inch display. It offers 8GB of internal storage and microSD card support for storage expansion. It also features LTE and NFC support.
Unfortunately the Sony Xperia G is not a water resistant one, and the source revealed that the phone won’t be coming with IP certification.
No other details on the device available right now. More details on the device will be available within a couple of days, when Sony officially announces the device at MWC.
