Sony rumored to unveil their Xperia Z2 tablet at MWC later this month. Most of its specifications get leaked recently. Now the @evleaks has posted the first press render of the tablet. The leak shows its huge bezel along with the new Android 4.4 KitKat UI and a new wallpaper. From the photo, it seems like that Sony is not giving any drastic change in the design, and follows almost same design strategy from it’s previous tablet devices.
Another twitter source Gadgetleaks also posted some more images of the tablet in which a white color version of the device has also posed for the shoot.
From the previous rumors, Sony Xperia Z2 is supposed to be a 10.1-inch device with Full HD WUXGA display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. A 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU is doing all the muscle work underneath the display. As most of the Sony’s premium devices, Xperia Z2 is also coming as dust and water resistant. The tablet sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The on-board memory is 3GB and storage is 16GB, that can be expanded further with the support of microSD card. The tablet houses a huge 6,000 mAh battery.
Apart from Sony Xperia Z2 tablet, Sony is also rumored to debut two new smartphones at MWC, Sony Sirus and Sony Xperia G. More on the devices will be known on February 24th, at MWC.
