Zen launches yet another budget Android Smartphone in India. The new phone, Zen Ultrafone 504 is listed in the company website. It is priced Rs. 7999.
The specifications of the phone is like any other entry level smart phone with no extra ordinary specifications or features. Ultrafone 504 has a 5 inch wide display. The resolution of the display is not given in the website, we guess it be an FWVGA or WVGA display.
The phone is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, again the make is not disclosed. We assume it to be MediaTek MT6572 chipset. The phone has 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB internal storage. MicroSD up to 32 GB is supported.
It is a dual SIM handset and supports 3G and 2G networks. The 2000 mAH battery is slightly bigger than what we normally find on entry level Android phones.
Going through the specifications, we feel that the device is over priced. The quad core processor powered phones like Micromax Canvas MAD and Gionee Pioneer P3 sells at lower prices than this phone.
The specifications of Zen Ultrafone 504 matches that of the Xolo A500S, which is a popular model.
