HTC has announced their latest flagship device HTC One (M8) at a special launch event held in both New York and London. The Taiwanese giant has already announced that the device will go on sale in some selected markets on the same day of its launch, and it will reach more countries by the first week of April itself. But the HTC lovers in India have to wait a bit longer, as HTC India announced that the device will be hitting the country by the third week of April.
There is no word on the pricing and exact availability date of the device right now. We may expect that the company will reveal the price details closer to its launch. But if we follow the past pricing trend, the price tag for the just announced HTC One (M8) in India will be around Rs. 40000-45000.
One more great news for the HTC lovers in India, as HTC One (M8) will work on 4G networks in India. The HTC One (M8) sold in India would support TD-LTE in band 40 (2,300 MHz), the same band on which Airtel operates its 4G networks and also RIL’s Jio Inforcom going to launch its 4G network later this year. But for the time being the 4G connectivity will be available on Airtel’s 4G network in Bangalore, for smartphones.
