Karbonn launched three new smartphones in Indian market. All three phones adds to Karbonn’s premium Titanium series portfolio. Titanium Octane, Titanium Octane Plus, Titanium Hexa are the phones that are launched by the company today. The phones will be available in markets by the end April.
All three phones comes with Android 4.4 and has dual SIMs. Let’s now take a look at the individual specifications and price of each of these phones.
Karbonn Titanium Octane (Rs. 14,490)
Karbonn Titanium Octane features a 5 inch display that offers 1280 x 720 p HD resolution. The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6592 Chipset with 1.7 GHz octa-core CPU and 1 GB of RAM. Titanium Octanes comes with all regular connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB ports. Needless to say the phone supports 2G all bands and 3G (HSPA+) network bands.
A 2000 mAh battery powers the device. The rear camera in the device comes with a 13 MP sensor while the front camera has a 5 MP sensor. The internal storage in the device is capped at 16 GB, there is microSD card slot in the device to help expand the memory. Karbonn Titanium Octane is priced Rs. 14,490.
Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus (Rs. 17,990)
Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus is the more powerful version of Titanium Octane. Most specifications are the same except that this device features a better RAM and camera. So the specifications of the phone are as follows.
It features a 5 inch display that offers 1920 x 1080 p full HD resolution. The phone is powered by the same Chipset and CPU (MediaTek MT6592 Chipset with 1.7 GHz octa-core CPU). The device has got 2 GB or RAM, which makes it more powerful than the Titanium Octane.
The connectivity features of the device are all the same. There is WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB. Internal storage is 16 GB expandable by another 32 GB using microSD card. Titanium Octane Plus features a 16 MP camera in the Rear and an 8 MP camera in the front. It is priced Rs. 17,990.
Karbonn Titanium Hexa
Titanium Hexa has got specifications that are entirely different from the previously mentioned devices. It features a 5.5 inch wide LTPS display that offers 1080×1920 pixel resolution.
The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz Hexa core CPU from MediaTek. This Chipset from MediaTek is not widely used in handset and probably uses the same Corex A7 cores. There is 2 GB of RAM in this device to ably assist the processor. There is 16 GB of internal storage memory expandable using microSD card.
The rear camera comes with 13 MP sensor while the front camera has got a 5 MP sensor. The battery capacity of the device is 2050 mAh. The device features all regular connectivity features and sensors. A quick review of each of these phone will be done on another post.
