LG G2 started receiving Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in India

For the LG G2 users in India, here is a happy news for you. LG India has started rolling out Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for LG G2 in the country. LG is releasing the update as over-the-air (OTA) and also via PC Suite application.
If you are G2 user, you can check for the update manually, just go to Settings << About phone << Update, on your LG G2.

The 535MB update will improve the overall performance of the device. The major changes include restyles status and navigation bars, improved close captioning support, a new full screen mode and also stronger security, better battery efficiency, faster performance and enhanced “Knock On.”

The LG G2 is a 5.2-inch device with full HD screen, 2.3 GHz quad-core snapdragon processor power, backed by 2 GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It sports a 13-megapixel camera, 2.1 MP front camera and a huge 3,000 mAh battery.

LG G2 Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is rolling out in phases, and it might take some day to reach everyone. So stay tuned for your phone gets updated, and if you are lucky to get it already, just enjoy the new Android KitKat experience.
