HTC has launched yet another Android smartphone in their Desire series, at the press event held in Delhi. The new phone dubbed as Desire 210, is a budget smartphone from HTC and will go on sale by the end of this month itself. Desire 210 is priced Rs. 8,700. Buyers will get a free flip cover, along with the phone.
HTC Desire 210 is a dual SIM smartphone that features a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixels resolution display. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. MediaTek MT6572M is the chipset used. The storage option ranges up to 4GB, that can be expanded further with the support of microSD card.
The HTC Desire 210 sports a 5 MP rear camera and a VGA(0.3 MP) front camera. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean along with a stripped down version of Sense UI. The phone offers all the regular connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G and GPS. It packs a 1300 mAh battery.
So today we saw HTC India launching 3 new devices including the HTC Desire 210. Other phones that were launched today are the HTC One M8 and HTC Desire 816. This time the HTC has got the pricing somewhat correct for the devices. Earlier we have seen HTC phone coming with heavy and unmatched price tags. HTC Desire 210 also has blinkfeed that we normally see on high end HTC phones.
