Lava launched Iris 550Q, priced Rs. 13000

Lava has launched a new phone called Lava Iris 550Q in India. The phone is listed in the company website. Lava’s Q series phones are widely popular in the country.

Lava  Iris 550Q can be called a phablet because the phone has got an extra large 5.5 inch display. The display offers 1280 x 720p resolution with 267 ppi pixel density, 16.7 million colors and wide viewing angles.

The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor along with 1 GB of RAM. It has got 4 GB of internal storage memory that can be expanded by another 32 GB using a microSD card. It features all regular connectivity features found on Android smartphones and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Lava Iris 550Q comes with a 2600 mAh battery that offers up to 500 hour of stand by, up to 10 hours talk time on 2G and up to 5 hour talk time on 3G. The battery offers charge to play music for up to 70 hours.

The primary rear camera in the device comes with an 8MP BSI CMOS sensor. It records full HD 1080p videos @ 30 fps. Other camera features includes Face Detection, HDR Mode, Panaroma Mode (Horizontal and Vertical), Burst Mode (40 & 99 Shots), Best Shot Mode, Best Picture Mode.  The front camera in the phone has a 2 MP CMOS sensor.
