Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 launched for Rs.8,500

Micromax has launched the Canvas Doodle 3 in India. The company had been teasing this device for few days on the television as well as on the web. Previous days also saw several leaks about the specifications and there were images too. Doodle 3 was expected to launch this week itself.

Finally all those leaks are proved true including the speculated price. The price of Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 at launch is Rs. 8,500. The device will go on sale from April 25.

Canvas Doodle 3 features a large 6 inch wide display that offers 854×480p FWVGA  resolution. It is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz along with 512 MB of RAM. The make of the processor is not known. The internal storage is 4 GB, and there is microSD card for memory expansion. It is a dual SIM phone that runs Android Jelly Bean OS. No sign of Android Kitkat from Micromax Yet.

The battery in the device is of 2500mAh capacity. The rear camera comes with a 5 MP sensor, while there is a VGA camera in the front too. All regular connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth and microUSB are present in this device along with 2G and 3G network connectivity options.

The device comes with magnetic flip cover in the box. There is free 6 months subscription from bigflix for the buyers. Kingsoft Office, Opera Mini Browser, Getit, Marble, Rope Cut, and Jelly Jumper comes pre-loaded in Canvas Doodle 3.

The specifications of the device is not extra-ordinary but the USP of the device is its large display and the lower price tags. You won’t find a 6 inch display device for a price this low.
