It is no secret that the Micromax is introducing the third iteration of its Doodle Series. The commercials of Micromax Doodle 3 are already flashing on our TV screens in between the IPL cricket matches. Yesterday an online teaser also appeared online.
However, the specifications are not let out by the company in the open. However, the micromaxcanvas.co.in, a site known for leaking the Micromax stories have published the images of the box covers of the device. The image that shows the rear side of the box has got the key specs printed on it, while in the front image shows the Doodle 3 that has a magnetic flip cover over it.
The specifications shows that it is a midrange device with a large display. Canvas Doodle 3 features a 6 inch display of unknown resolution. We assumes it will either have a WVGA or FWVGA resolution. The design is the same as other Canvas Doodle devices.
It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor along with 512 MB of RAM. The internal storage memory is not provided, but we assumes it be 4 GB. The microSD card supports storage of up to 32 GB. Android Jelly bean 4.2 is the OS. There is no hint of Android Kitkat in this device. Micromax Kitkat update for Canvas Canvas devices powered by MediaTek processors is scheduled for the Q2 of this year. So hopefully this device too will get Kitkat update in near future. But for now this phone will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The 2500 mAh battery offers talk time of up to 9 hours and up to 260 hours of stand-by. The rear camera comes with a 5 MP sensor and in the front is basic VGA camera for video chat.
Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 price will be around Rs. 10,000. It will be available very soon in the market, most probably by next week.
