Galaxy S3 comes with 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and had 1 GB of RAM. The multi-tasking abitility of the phone will not suffer even though it has got a less powerful CPU because it has got more RAM. The phone runs Android OS version 4.3 Jelly Bean. Though Jelly Bean 4.3 is not very old, Samsung could have added Android latest version Kitkat to this device, as we can see an increasing number of devices with the latest version of the OS getting launched. The battery is of 2100 mAh capacity and offers up to 14 hours of talk time. The phone weighs 132 gm and has dimensions ranging 70.75mm x 136.6mm x 8.6mm. The dimensions and weight are surprisingly similar. Over all it will be real hard to distinguish this phone from Galaxy S3 from outside.

The price of the phone will be around Rs. 24,000, which is almost the same price at which the Galaxy Grand 2 sells now in the country. So the comparison of both phones is inevitable. Samsung has kept most of the features and specifications of Galaxy S3 in this device. Samsung chose a processor with lesser clock speed and increased the RAM memory. This phone is basically the Galaxy S3 phone with a different processor and increased RAM.
