As expected the Karbonn Titanium Hexa is now available on Amazon.in for pre-order. Yesterday Karbonn had announced that the device will be exclusively available from Amazon. The phone will be released on May 20, 2014.
Karbonn Titanium Hexa belongs to a rare category of devices that are powered by a Hexa-core processors. The phone is powered by a new MT6591 Chipset from MediaTek. The CPU offers 1.5 GHz clock speed. On the memory side the device is equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded by another 32 GB using microSD card.
Karbonn also provides the benchmark scores of the prototype device. The tests, according to Karbonn, showed Antutu benchmark score of 21000 and Nenamark score of 55.6 fps.
The Titanium hexa can be termed a phablet because of its large display. The phone features a 5.5 inch display that offers 1080 x 1920 pixels full HD resolution. The pixel density offered by the display is ~401ppi. The screen is scratch resistant and comes with oleophobic coating that resists finger prints.
The rear camera in the device features a 13 MP sensor, while the front camera has a 5MP sensor. The camera features includes Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and panorama mode.
The connectivity options in the phone includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port along with GSM and 3G network bands connectivity. The phone comes with Android 4.4 OS out of the box. The battery is of 2050 mAh capacity.
The pre order offer includes a Plantronics ML2 Bluetooth Headset. This is probably an exclusive offer for those pre-ordering the phone, and the company may discontinue this offer once the device gets released.
