Lava Iris X1 listed on Amazon for 7,999

Lava has listed their latest budget offering, Lava Iris X1 on Amazon.in. The phones is available for purchase for Rs. 7,999. However, the site says that the device will be in stock only from June 5, 2014. So the shipping will commence only from that date.

Lava Iris X1 is the first Android Kitkat OS phone from Lava. It comes with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box. The phone features a 4.5 inch display with 480×854 pixels FWVGA resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor along with 1 GB of RAM. Broadcom BCM23550  is the chipset used in this device. There is 4 GB of in-built storage memory and microSD card slot for further expansion up to 32 GB.

The rear camera in the device comes with an 8 MP sensor, while the front camera features a 2 MP sensor. The primary camera features includes dual LED flash, HD video recording, digital zoom and auto focus.

The battery in the phone is of 1800 mAh capacity. It is a dual SIM phone that supports 2G and 3G network bands. Other connectivity options includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB port.

The overall dimensions of the phone ranges 134x66x8.90mm with weight measuring 138 grams with battery.  Iris X1 comes equipped with an accelerometer and proximity sensor.
