The Indian smartphone maker Lava is all set to launch a new X series smartphone, Lava Iris X1. The phone will feature the latest Android build and will be coming with a budget friendly price tag.
The Lava Iris X1 will be the first X series smartphone from Lava to feature Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone that comes with a 4.5″ screen is expected to offer 720p HD resolution. The Iris X1 will be featuring an 8MP rear camera with LED flash.
There are not much more details available about the device right now. But as Motorola officially launched their next trend setter Moto E, Lava will launch the Iris X1 without much delay. The phone will be priced under Rs. 8000, and it seems to be priced decently, considering the KitKat power and 4.5″ HD display. The design of the phone is inspired from the recently launched Iris Pro 20 and Iris Pro 30.
With the launch of Moto G and now Moto E, the domestic smartphone vendors are facing a tough challenge. It is a great news that the Indian smartphone makers started moving to KitKat OS. Apart from Iris X1, the upcoming Karbonn Titanium Hexa, Karbonn Titanium Octane are there in the KitKat club.
