LG has quietly launched the LG L80 Dual Android phone in the country. The phone is listed in the official company website for Rs, 17,500. LG had introduced this phone along with other L series – III phones like L40, L70 and L90.
LG L80 Dual features a 5 inch IPS display that offers WVGA (480×800 pixel) resolution. It is powered by a dual core Cortex A7 processor along with 1 GB of RAM. Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 is the chipset used and Adreno 302 is the GPU. There is 4 GB of internal storage memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card.
The rear camera in the device features a 5 MP sensor. On the front is a basic VGA camera. The connectivity features in the device includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB version 2.0. The phone comes with latest Android 4.4.2 Android OS out of the box. The phone comes packed with 2540 mAh battery.
The overall dimension of the phone ranges between 138.2 X 74.3 X 9.7mm. The LG specific features like knock code and knock on are present in this device. Other features in the phone includes capture all, Nimbuzz, Guest mode, quick window, plug & pop, smart forward, gesture control etc are present in LG L80 dual.
Meanwhile, LG L90 dual now sells for a best buy price of around Rs. 16500 at various online retailers in the country. The price of the LG L70 seems to be high which will probably get a price cut when it reaches the stores.
