Micromax has launched a new budget smartphone in the country. The new device, Micromax Bolt A69 is a low cost phone priced at around Rs. 6,000. Though there is no official word on the launch of the device, it is displayed in the company website without the price and availability.
Meanwhile we spotted the black version of this phone on sale on Indiatimes website. Indiatimes, at the time of this posting sells the device for Rs. 5,790 after a discount of 3% from the MRP. Micromax may officially launch this device soon.
As we have the specifications of this device available we are sharing it for our users. The Micromax Bolt A69, though is a budget phone, features a 4.5 inch display that offers 854 x 480p FWVGA display. It is powered by a dual core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1GHz along with 512 MB of RAM. Broadcom BCM21663 is the chipset used in this phone.
Bolt A69 comes with 4 GB of RAM and there is microSD card for further storage expansion. The rear camera comes with a 5 MP sensor while in the front is a VGA shooter. The rear camera is a fixed focus camera, but records 720p videos. The camera is equipped with an LED flash.
The phone comes packed with a 1,800 mAh battery which offers up to 350 hour of stand by, and up to 7 hours of talk time. Connectivity options in Bolt A69 includes WiFi, Micro USB port and Bluetooth V4.0 along with 2G and 3G network connectivity options. GPS is missing in this device.
