Samsung had officially launched the Galaxy K Zoom back in April this year, at a dedicated event in Singapore. This second generation camera centric smartphone from Samsung is now on its way to India, it seems. Even though there is no official word on the launch of the device in the country, the phone is listed in online retailer Amazon India’s website. As on reports, the phone will be retailing exclusively via Amazon India.
Like its predecessor Galaxy S4 Zoom, camera is the main focus of Galaxy K Zoom too. The phone features a breath-taking 20.7 MP rear camera with 1/2.3 BSI CMOS sensor along with 10x digital zoom. The camera comes with a range of advanced features to capture the best shots, including Pro suggest Mode, Selfie Alarm etc. and it also boasts OIS and Xenon flash for more natural light experience.
Now coming to its hardware specifications, the Galaxy K Zoom sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution. The phone is powered by a hexa-core Exynos 5 Hexa processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. It has 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and packs a 2430 mAh battery. The phone also sports a 2.3 MP front snapper. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
As we noted earlier, there is no official word regarding the launching of the device in the country. But we now know that the entry of Galaxy K Zoom to the Indian market is imminent.
