The Indian smartphone maker Xolo is reported to be readying their upcoming Android flagship device. According to the source, the phone is expected to be landing with a self-made brand new Android smartphone user interface named Hive.
The phone is expected to be powered by an octa-core processor, and this will be the first octa-core device from Xolo. The processor may be clocked at 1.7 GHz. It will sport 5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, and the display will be coming with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will also have 2GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. No other details are available regarding the specification of the device.
Coming to the new UI, the Xolo Hive, the ROM will offer new set of features and enhancements over the stock Android experience. It is designed based on the Android 4.4 KitKat. The leaked screen shots shows a fresh design with new fonts and icons.
The new homescreen features Xolo Connect, Xolo Power, Xolo Secure and Fusion X apps along with the conventional dialer, contacts, app launcher etc. Xolo has also added a dedicated page for their upcoming Hive UI.
The phone is expected to be launching by the second week of July.
