The new Lava Iris X1 will have 8 GB of internal storage, against the 4 GB in the previous models. Lava Iris X1 is the best selling device from Lava in recent times. The phone was launched in May this year for Rs. 7,999. Though the memory is increased, the price of the phone remains the same.
Low internal storage memory was a criticism Lava faced with this device, as the internal memory was limited to 4 GB, out of which only 0.93 was available for the user.
The extended memory makes the device even more worthy than it was before. Lava sources says that the memory expansion also improves the performance of the phone. The device also has got a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32 GB.
