Oppo officially launches the Oppo N1 Mini in India for Rs. 26,990. Earlier, it was reported that the phone will be launched on August 11, 2014. This is the Mini version of Oppo’s flagship device of yesteryear, the Oppo N1.
Oppo N1 mini will be available across the country from this week itself, according to official sources.
Oppo N1 had hit the headlines because of the 13 MP rotating camera. It was the first time in any smartphones launched. When Oppo launched the mini version of this device they did not miss to include this in to the phone.
Oppo N1 Mini features a 5 inch display that offers 1280 x 720 p resolution. The display offers 16 M colors and approximately 294 ppi pixel density.
It is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad core processor along with 2 GB of RAM. There is a 16 GB of internal storage memory that cannot be expanded further. The chipset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 which includes Adreno 305 GPU.
The camera, as I mentioned above, features a 13 MP sensor. Since the camera rotates, it can also be used as the front camera. 1/3.2” sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR are some of the key features of the camera. The camera is capable of recording 1080 p full HD videos @ 30 fps.
On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G LTE, besides other regular connectivity options. So for connectivity the users can use the 4G, 3G and 2G network connectivity options, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB port.
Oppo Color OS version 1.4, which is built on the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 platform is the operating system in this device. 2140mAh battery fuels the device.
At a time when brands like Xiaomi and Asus are invading the market with high-end phones priced low, the pricing of this phone seems a bit high. What stands out in Oppo N1 mini is the 13 MP rotating camera. The 4G LTE connectivity and the 2 GB RAM also helps.
