Now when I checked for the device in the Flipkart’s Redmi 1S page listed on Google, it got redirected to the home page of the site. It is possible that Xiaomi might ask users to Register first to get hold of the device, like they do with Mi3. So the previously listed page might get replaced by a registration page.

A demand similar to that of Mi3 is expected because the price of the device is much low, and there is a good demand of phones in this price segment. Meanwhile, the limited availability of Mi3 is being criticized by many who observe this act as a marketing gimmick to create hype and cash on it.
