Xolo launches this phone for the smartphone gamers, those looking to get most experience from their smartphone. Xolo has included a gyroscope to make this device compatible with games that require it. Other sensors in this phone includes Magnetometer, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Hall Effect sensor.
This phone features a 5 inch display that offers 1920 x 1080 p full HD resolution. It is an OGS display with IPS panel. The display offers 16M colors and has 441 ppi pixel density.
Xolo Play 8x-1200 is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core CPU along with Mali 450 GPU @ 700 MHz. The chipset is the turbo charged MediaTek MT6592. The phone has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage memory which cannot be expanded further.
Xolo Play 8x-1200 comes with Android V 4.4 OS out-of-the-box. The user interface is stock android with basic customization.
The rear camera features a 13 MP PureCel sensor. It is an auto focus camera that comes with a dual flash. Other camera features includes Scene detection & tuning, high dynamic, range (HDR), low light enhancement, face recognition(for focusing as well as in
gallery), vertical & horizontal panorama capture and geo tagging.
The front camera has got a 5 MP BSI sensor. This camera can be used for taking good selfies and for video chats. The connectivity options of the phone includes Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with Assisted GPS and micro USB v2.0 ports. There is no NFC in this phone.
