Celkon launched a new Android Kitkat smartphone in India. The new phone Celkon Millennium Ultra Q500 features a 5 inch display that offers HD (1280 x 720p) display. It is a One Glass Solution (OGS) display that offers 16M colors and ~294 ppi pixel density.  Price of the phone at launch is Rs. 9,999.

Celkon Millennium Ultra Q500 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor along with VideoCore IV GPU and 2GB of RAM.  Broadcom BCM23550 is the chipset used in this device. There is 16 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for further memory expansion.

The rear camera features 8 MP sensor while the front camera comes with 2 MP sensor. In the rear is an auto focus camera with LED flash associated. It can record 720p videos @ 30 fps. The front camera is a fixed focus camera.

Millennium Ultra Q500 is a dual SIM phone. The connectivity options in the phone includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB port along with 2G and 3G network connectivity options. The battery in the device is of 2500 mAh capacity.
