The new Moto G, which is the second version of the popular smartphone Moto G, is expected to launch on September 5. Motorola has already sent out invites for the invent. The international launch of the device will be held on September 5. A number of devices including Moto X and Moto 360 too are scheduled to launch at the event.
The latest leaks from the import data website zauba indicates that the Moto G with version code XT1068 was imported to India from China few days back. This is a confirmation of the launch of Moto G at the coming event. Price of the new Moto G is also listed in the chart. It shows Rs. 10,640. The launch price is almost always close to the import list price. So the price of Moto G2 will be around Rs.11,000.
Another interesting thing that we learned for this list is that there is no mention of G2 in the list. So it is likely that the Motorola would continue with the Moto G name for the upcoming device. Motorola may simply call it, the “new Moto G.” As they have already stopped making first iteration Moto G, there won’t be much confusion between the new and the old.
From the earlier leaks we already know that the device. The improvement from the earlier version is found on the display size, which is scaled up to 5 inch. The resolution remains the same (1280 x 720p HD). The camera has also improve, while Motorola make a huge leap in terms of storage by offering MicroSD card slot. There are speakers in the front of the device. The external design remains the same.
