Samsung has listed a Galaxy Mega 2 on its official website. The rumors about the device is on for a quite while, and the device is more than real as it is listed on its official website for Taiwan.
The device features a 6 inch display that offers 1280 x 720p resolution. The TFT capacitive display offers 16M colors and ~245ppi pixel density. It is powered by a quad core CPU along with 1.5 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of internal storage memory that can be expanded further 64 GB using a microSD card.
The rear camera features an 8MP CMOS sensor that records full HD videos @ 30fps. It is an auto focus camera and comes with a flash. The front camera features a 2.1 MP sensor. It runs latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.
The device comes with usual connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port. It also features Near Field Communication (NFC). Galaxy Mega 2 supports 2G and 3G network bands. The device listed on the Taiwanese website comes with LTE connectivity. This could be optional, and India might not get the device with LTE connectivity.
The availability of Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is still not known, and also the pricing. The specifications of the device are of midrange phones. The price of the phone in India is expected to be around Rs. 30,000. It is expected in India in October this year.

While the price of Galaxy S5 dropped ~Rs. 15,000 from the launch price of Rs. 52,000, Galaxy core 2 duos saw a price drop of around 35%, which now sells for around Rs. 7,990.
