Samsung has silently released the 3rd version its best seller in budget segment. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 unlike its premium siblings comes without any fan fare time. There is no indication about such device any where online. The device is revealed by a retailer in Mumbai, Mahesh telecom, through a twitter post. The price at the store for this device is Rs. 7,999, while the MRP is Rs. 8,590.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 features a 4 inch display of unknown resolution. It is powered 1 GHz dual core processor. The other known features includes is the 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, 2G, 3G connectivity along with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB port. The battery is of 1500 mAh capacity. The specifications are updated and there seems no upgrade in key specs from the earlier version. The phone supports Indian languages and is expected to run Android Kitkat, which is yet to be confirmed.

Since Samsung has not made any announcements about this device, I personally feel that they do not expect much from this device. At one some point in the past it was the best performer in the segment. Now the segment is dominated by the phones from Micromax, lava, Xolo, Spice and now Xiaomi.
