Sony Xperia E3 now available in India for Rs. 11,790

Sony Xperia E3 that was launched during the recent IFA 2014 is now available in India. The device is available now at real stores for a price starting at Rs. 11,790 for the single SIM device. The dual SIM device will cost Rs. 12,790.

As the price itself suggests, it is a budget Android smartphone from Sony, and a successor of Xperia E2. The phone is available as Sony Xperia E3 and Sony Xperia E3 Dual.  It is again the @MAHESHTELECOM who has revealed the availability of the device in the country. They have disclosed the offline rates, however, the online rates may be slightly different.

The device is also available online from Ebay for a slightly lesser price of Rs. 11,490 for single SIM and Rs. 12,490 for the dual SIM version. Besides the SIM count, the specifications are all the same in both versions.

Sony Xperia E3 features a 4.5 inch IPS display that offers 480 x 854 pixels FWVGA resolution. It offers 16M color depth and ~218 ppi pixel density. There is shatter proof glass protection for the display.

It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor along with 1  GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset is used in this phone. The internal memory is limited to 4 GB. However, there is microSD card slot for further memory expansion. Xperia E3 supports cards up to 32 GB.

The rear camera in the device features a 5MP sensor. It is an auto focus camera that comes with a an LED flash. The rear camera can record 1080p full HD videos @30fps. The front camera is a VGA camera. It will be available in Black, White, Yellow, Copper colors.

Accelerometer, gyro, compass, barometer are the sensors found in this phone. Sony Xperia E3 weighs 143g with overall dimensions ranging 137.7 x 69.4 x 8.5 mm.

Android v4.4 Kitkat OS runs on the this phone. The 2330 mAh battery non removable battery offers talk time of up to 12 h 20 min (2G)/ up to 8 h 41 min (3G) and stand by of up to 706 h (2G) /up to 661 h (3G).
