Xiaomi Mi3 is making a come back to India. And they have chosen the right time of the year for the return. Diwali is not just like any other time in India. It is a period when people from all aspects of life celebrate, fire crackers and exchange gifts among one another. The announcement was made by the Xiaomi‘s India head Manu Jain during the ongoing GMIC conference in Bangalore.
The launch of Mi3 in India changed the entire mobile market landscape in India. It came as a shocker for many midrange-premium handset manufactures like HTC and Samsung, who currently dominates the respective segments. The premium segment mobile specifications suddenly became accessible for the middle class population in the country, when Xiaomi Mi3 was offered at Rs.13,999.
Sad part, however is that the Xiaomi will be resorting to flash sale like it did in the past. The quantity that will be placed for flash sale is not disclosed. Adding to this Xiaomi Global head, Hugo Barra, said that the company will be contemplating a priority pass scheme for those tried and failed many times in the past. The device will be added automatically to the Flipkart shopping cart where they can purchase it by completing the check out.
Meanwhile, we spotted Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Xiaomi Mi3 on infibeam website yesterday. Both phones shows ‘coming soon’ status now. Both the company representatives did not mention anything about their association with Infibeam.
