I personally tried to buy one, but it was sold out as soon as the ticker went off and the “Buy Button” appeared. Probably I needed a faster Internet connection to buy Xiaomi devices from Flipkart.

According to Xiaomi, over 2,50,000 people had register for the first sale. The sale is restricted to one phone per email basis. This itself shows the incredible demand for Xiaomi devices in India.

For those who have missed today’s chance, Xiaomi is opening the registration for the next sale from today, September 2 at 6 PM. Those who had registered for the earlier sale will have to register again.
