Lava has launched a new Android smartphone in the country. The new phone is called Lava Iris Fuel 50 and it comes with a 5 inch FWVGA display. Asahi dragon trail glass gives additional protection to the screen. The price of the phone at launch is Rs. 7, 799. It is also listed in the company website for Rs. 8300.
The highlight of this device is obviously the extra large battery it holds. The Lithium polymer battery comes with 3000 mAh battery. It offers a talk time of up to 13 hours on 3G and up to 17 hours on 2G.
Lava Iris Fuel 50 is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal storage memory in the device, out of which 2.7 GB is used for Apps.
The 8 MP rear camera comes with a BSI 2 sensor. It is an auto focus camera that comes with dual LED flash. Panorama, HDR, and QR scanner are the other features in the camera.
Lava Iris Fuel 50 runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It is a dual SIM phone that supports 2G and 3G networks. The overall dimension ranges 144.8mm x 72.9mm x 9.5mm, and it weighs 160g.
Intex Aqua Star power with be the prime competitor of this device. But Lava has an edge over the competition because it comes with a 5 inch large display and powerful hardware specs apart from the large battery.
