Motorola made the Nexus 6 for Google. Though, criticized for some glitches, this indeed is a power packed phablet with some great features and specifications. Now, it is learned that Motorola is prepping a new device that would match the size for Nexus 6, and specifications more powerful.
Motorola do have a premium offering in Droid Turbo, also sold under the name Motorola Moto Maxx in markets outside of United States. But, this does not stop the company from aspiring more. The company is believed to be making a device that will have a 6 inch display that offers, Quad HD resolution. It will be powered by Quacomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. Qualcomm latest 64 bit SoC lets the device makers to incorporate more than 3 GB of RAM in their devices. The Motorola device will have 4 GB of RAM.
This is just a rumor, we will post more about this as we get to know about the progress of this device.
Motorola do have their intentions clear after a short stint under the Google. During the short span they have devised phones that are spread across all price segments. They now have Moto E for the beginners, Moto G 1st generation and Moto G 2nd Generation in lower mid range segment, Moto X in upper mid range segment and Moto Maxx in the premium segment. The new device will belong to the super premium segment or a periodical advancement over the Moto Maxx premium phone.
Motorola is loved by masses because of its great hardware and features. Besides, Moto phones are the first in line when Google roll our Android updates. While most Android devices are yet to receive the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, Moto G 2nd Generation, Moto X 2nd Generation devices already have it available. Today, Motorola is rolling out Lollipop 5.0 update for Moto G 1st Generation devices (soak test, real roll out will soon follow).
