HTC has launched Desire 626G Plus with dual nano SIM card slots in India for Rs. 16,900. This is a budget offering from the company that is popular of the HTC One series premium handsets. The phone will hit the retail stores across the country.
HTC Desire 626G Plus features a 5 inch LCD IPS Capacitive display that offers 1280 x 720 pixels. The pixel density of the display is ~294 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. MediaTek MT9592 is the chipset used in this device. There is 8 GB of internal storage memory which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
The overall dimension of the phone ranges between 146.9×70.9×8.1 mm and it weighs 138g. It is a 3G phone and is a bit of a disappoint to find it without 4G, especially after considering the price of the device. Other connectivity options in HTC Desire 626G Plus includes Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and microUSB v2.0. There are dual speakers in the front.
Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS with Sense UI on top runs in this phone. The battery capacity is 2000 mAh. The 13 MP resolution camera comes with f/2.2 aperture and 2.2cm lens, and is capable of recording fullHD videos. The 5MP front-facing camera features BSI sensor, f/2.8 aperture, 3.4cm lens.
