Motorola has launched the New Moto E 4G 2015 (2nd Gen) XT1521 in India for Rs. 7,999. This is the 4G LTE version of the previously launched Moto E 2nd Generation 3G only version. In comparison with 3G version, the 4G version is different in terms of its processing power. The 4G version is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset while the 3G version is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset.
Update: The new Moto E 2nd Generation 4G is now available on Flipkart for Rs.5,999.
Besides the change in Chipset, other specifications of both the phones are same. New Moto E 4G 2015 (2nd Gen) XT1521 features a 4.5 inch qHD TFT LCD display that offers 960 x 540p resolution. It is powered is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU paired with Adreno 306 GPU. There is 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of expandable internal storage.
It is a dual SIM device that supports 4G network connectivity. Android 5.0 Lollipop OS runs on the device out-of-the-box. The overall dimensions ranges between 129.9 x 66.8 x 12.3 mm and it weighs 145g. In the rear there is 5 MP camera. There is no flash in this model too. In the front there is a VGA camera.
Sensors in Moto E 2015 LTE includes Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Sensor Hub, Accelerometer. There is a 2390 mAh battery in this device.
