More details about Xiaomi’s i Phone surfaces, could be called Mi 4i

Two days ago we had reported about the launch of a new Xiaomi phone, and is happening in India for the World. With the emergence of new details the thing are getting a better clarity. All Xiaomi has released officially is a teaser saying ‘i is coming.’ The teaser also says that the Global launch is happening in New Delhi, India on April 23. Xiaomi fans who register on the official website are also welcome for the launch.

Now few documents suggesting the existence of this ‘i’ phone have surfaced. The Geek bench 3 reveals the processor specification and the Android version. The document shows that the device is powered by the 1.6 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa core Chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM. This is line with out previous speculation of this device. We derived the specification of Mi 4i from the previous leaks of a device code named Xiaomi Ferrari. While we stand corrected on the name of the device, we are now quite sure about the specification of the device.

The Singapore IDA certification site shows the new Xiaomi Variant which is named Xiaomi Mi 4i (This could be the name of the device). This is going to be an Mi 4 device with slightly lower specifications, while drawing most of the design elements of its parent phone.

Specifications of Mi 4i are as follows

The price of the phone is expected around Rs.15,000. This device will fill the void left so long after the company decided to pull Mi3. Mi3 was the device which established Xiaomi’s presence in India. It was the first phone from Xiaomi to launch in India, but sold out like pan cakes in the flash sales. Xiaomi, like always, may surprise us with even more aggressive price tag by lowering the price to may be around Rs. 14,000.
