Reports from the sources indicates that Xiaomi, who had been partnering with Flipkart to sell their smarphones and tablets are looking for a different sellers. As of now the company is looking to partner with Snapdeal, which is equally good in terms of resources and logistics capability. Both companies are in talks regarding this.

According to sources Xiaomi is not very happy with the company’s sales in the recent times. Things have changed since Xiaomi first introduced their Mi3 in India. The company was able to sell a record number of Redmi 1S and Mi3 in the country in just few days after being introduced in the country.
It was Xiaomi who introduced the flash sale in India, but since then a number of other companies have been following this while introducing a new product in the market. Flipkart now has exclusive deals with Huawei, Lenovo, Motorola etc. Snapdeal currently proved their ability to conduct flash sale through Infocus M2 sales. Amazon currently partners with Yu Yureka to sell their phones.
Whether related or not, Xiaomi recently started selling their products offline through Mobilestore, and also started selling the accessories like Flipcase and headphones through their official Indian website. These moves also can be read as an indication of Xiaomi’s motive to find new sales avenues in India. For Xiaomi, India is the most important market after China. The news comes from reliable sources and so it will not be very long before we will be able to by Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G and Mi4 from Snapdeal.
