Micromax has silently introduced a new Canvas Nitro in the market. After being silent for a brief period the company is once again launching new devices. Recently we saw the launch of Canvas Spark, and Canvas Knight 2. The latter is yet to hit the stands. Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 is the successor of the previous year device Canvas Nitro A311. Primary difference between both phones is the processor.
The phone is already listed on certain online stores like eBay and Infibeam with a price tag of around Rs. 10,000. Official notification is yet to arrive.
Canvas Nitro 2 E311 is powered by a 1.4 GHz MediaTek MT6592M chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage memory and microSD card slot for further expansion. The phone runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It is a 3G phone with regular connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi, GPS and microUSB v2.0.
There is a13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera in this phone. Battery capacity is 2400 mAh.
Earlier in the day we also saw Yu, the subsidiary of Micromax, launching their latest budget Android smartphone called Yuphoria. This phone is priced Rs. 6,999 and comes with features like 5 inch HD display with corning Gorilla Glass 3, 2 GB RAM, Snapdragon 410 chipset, 4G, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and 16 GB of internal storage. It will be available exclusively from Amazon.in.
